Richard and Donald are very close friends who hang out in a large group of high school students as well. Their girlfriends Shelley and Michelle enter, exit, and re-enter their lives throughout their adolescent period. Their good friends Billy and Sal who also tag along get caught up in Richard and Donald's dilemmas. Wild high school and college parties, prevalent drug use, sex, and violence plague a small town called "Sunnyville" located on the west coast somewhere between the beach and the mountains. However Donald and Richard's luck makes a turn for the worst, as both of them get caught up in some illegal activities and brush up against local law enforcement. Their "hood" Mexican friend Felix, who is a bad seed, has introduced them to some crime elements that Donald and Richard are not prepared for. Richard has to make a choice, but so does Donald, that affects both of their lives. Richard and Donald are two skateboarder, surfer, type punks who like to go to high school parties, get into fights, drink till they puke all while avoiding the detection of their parents.
