Due to the situations that require social distancing, our team actively incorporated new media technologies into the events including live streaming, video conferencing, and social media, so that new media artists, researchers, and guests worldwide could participate in the events physically and/or virtually. Despite challenges, we highly value cultural exchanges among artists, researchers, and local residents worldwide and believe the events have inspired us and expanded understanding of new media art and culture in general.
